Boy and Girl Buffleheads...

Normally I only see the guys but I saw both the guys and gals on the river on my way home from work today... I am posting an young adult Bald Eagle in the extra. Yes I know it's soft, a little out of focus and a bit grainy.. but this is the reason I bought this camera.. One of my favorite things about blipfoto is you have every spectrum of photography  from simple snapshots to National Geographic and everything in between.. Each photo is a memory of something... Good, bad or indifferent.. According to the EXIF data, the extra photo was taken at the 35mm equivalent of 2650mm at F-stop 6.6 at ISO 100.. Yes it was that far away.. and it was taken hand held..   A photo that makes me happy despite the flaws... 

This evening one of the neighbors stopped by to say hi and see how things were going.. He was a Detective for 30 years... Between what I have seen in 22 years over the road  and what he has seen - we can swap tall tales for hours... and some are the same stories over and over.. It was good to know he is doing well...

I got a workout at work tomorrow.. A fully trailer hand unload in a small city west of Salem Oregon.. I like these days as I can eat a little extra..
