Mirror Mirror on the cars

Stuck at traffic lights with engine off, this array of mirrors pointing skywards caught my eye.

Another office day ahead of the Board tomorrow.

Surprised at the apparent reaction to the Speaker’s statement on Brexit. With friends on Friday at dinner we (current or retired Scottish civil servants) were chatting about the convention of how you can’t just keep presenting the same motion to Parliament. And were wondering how subsequent votes might be presented. If we knew, why not the Cabinet? Or is this just part of an even more cunning plan than appears to be the case? Only time will tell.

Is it only in Europe that they “stop the clock”? Maybe looking skyward will help.
