Busy day

Saw Ella and Nathanial,briefly. She got in from rugby and while she was turned away, he had a go wearing her panda hairband, a present from China.

Theyband their dad went off to the other Granny’s for lunch while we helped #3 daughter measure up for curtain rails and put up pictures. She made us a tasty lunch and we had a good catch up without the children.

They wanted us to see the progress they’d made with swimming, so We met them at the pool for their swimming lesson. ( Ella stopped her lesson some time ago as she just couldn’t get the confidence to float on her back, so they thought it best to give her a break from it for a bit. ). A few weeks ago she decided she’d try again, and did really well today. She must have been tired as she’d already done over 13,000 steps at rugby. Nathaniel did well in his lesson too, also on his back. I hope they don’t get a knock back on holiday when they see how confident their cousins are. Both can swim well, Thomas under water for a long way.

Now a drink and a binge watch of Shetland, though I’m not enjoying this series as much.
