Some Big Hall!

We had a day trip to the Albert Hall in London with our Shit Mates Shirley and Steve to see the massed Bands of her Majesties Royal Marines. Its something we have done for a few years now and really, really enjoy. The music is so emotional and there was a special piece to remember the 11 Royal marine Bandsmen who died in a bombing in Deal 30 years ago.

Mr W drove and we parked at Imperial College London, stopped at Pret for lunch and enjoyed the 2pm showing. Except we thought it was 2.30 so ended up being seated about 30 seconds before the start of the show!!! Accidental Perfect Timing!! We were also lucky enough to have booked a box...again accidentally as Mr W just clicked "best available seats". We had no idea it was a box until we saw the tickets!!!

On our way home, we stopped for Pizza in Croydon before collecting Bella from Daughter Number 2's just round the corner. Apparently she had been very well behaved all day and was totally shattered by the time we collected her and Shirley and Steve were able to see DN's home for the first time which was nice considering they are Sophies Aunt and Uncle!!

We have already planned the next performance and have it in our diary for next March!!!
