The Rocks - Sydney

This area of old Sydney is known as 'The Rocks.'
We had a lovely meal with friends in the Rocks Cafe (in the photo) last night, to mark the final evening of our trip.
There are a lot of old buildings in this part of town, and in this shot you can see the new buildings of Sydney rising behind the old ones.

This afternoon, we embark on the first leg of our long journey home, so we just had a couple if hours for a final stroll around the harbour and the botanical gardens. 
Today's extra is unapologetically a touristy shot of the harbour bridge and opera house.
