West India Quay

We took ourselves here today, using the DLR, which in itself is a sort of viewing platform for this part of the city, suspended above the streets below. It fascinates me anyway! Canary Wharf is a different world!

We came to visit the Museum of London Docklands and managed to do one floor of the museum in over two and a half hours. There are three floors and they all deserve time, so we will be back.....So much to see and learn about the history of trade in the port of London and the Thames.

Much time was spent though in the special exhibition Slavery, Culture and Collecting....very challenging.
