Two swans a-swimming

A better day today, so I decided to revisit the location where I found the common gull last week, but failed to spot the jack snipe. Today, I saw the jack snipe - that view you get as it flies up from close by and disappears into the blue yonder. I also got a glimpse of those elusive partridge as someone else flushed them. If only all birds were as obliging as swans!
