Hornbeam catkins

Stormy weather and the after effects of the virus have conspired to drain me of my photographic mojo. I did manage a late afternoon walk along the river, much needed after a day at the computer. More signs of spring including the first leaves emerging on the weeping willows, hornbeam catkins outlined by the late-afternoon sun and the first chiffchaff of the year calling from the car-park.
