Strawberry Rum

Out for dinner with friends tonight (one of them a former panel member). Felt a bit decadent for a Tuesday but most of them retired. Lovely tagine and some home made liqueurs.

We had taken our version of strawberry rum. As part of the tidy up it was lurking in the corner of a cupboard where it had lain for me very a year. Perhaps could have used more sugar but still pleasant- as were the other concoctions of sloe and elderberry.

Is this what retirement is like?
