Lazy day

We didn't venture far afield today, a day of swimming, reading, walking in the gardens, writing postcards and a trip to the supermarket cafe for coffee and custard tarts!

There were a couple of phone calls too, checking up on elderly mother in hospital and Jimmy, who is gallantly looking after the hens. Both doing okay, and Jimmy's wife tells me she never sees him these days as he's always away at the hens!

Excellent meal this evening at the hotel, the first 'proper' one of the holiday, and it was a real treat. For fresh fruit and vegetables, it is definitely the place to come!  Extra is a friendly lion in the bar!
