Still Not Sure ..

The birds are taking a while to get used to the new feeder. It consists of a pole with an array of hooks on top from which peanut feeders and fat balls can hang, and trays clamped on at intervals for seeds. 

It has already fallen over once. Perhaps storm Gareth was to blame, but I think the badgers might have had a paw in it. They've been active recently, and they do like peanuts. TM has dug a deeper hole and it seems to be staying up now.

The  birds are still a bit cautious, they come and snatch a morsel then retreat into the trees to eat it. Apart, that is, from the robin, a bold bird. But even he looks a little apprehensive. I'm sure they'll get used to it soon.
