South of the Border ...
...down Berwick way.
The sun shone but Storm Gareth was stretching his sinews and Berwick is a town of steep and narrow streets running down to the shore - perfect wind tunnels. It was bracing!
We had an interesting lunch (see extra).
Then I went for a wander down to the harbour while TM was having his eyes tested.
Later we bumped into our friend C, and she asked to pop in for a cup of tea on our way home, to cheer up Mr C who's a bit under the weather.
We found them listening to the Great Debate - so we joined in and had a good old moan about everything going to the dogs etc....
Home to a blazing fire - the wind fairly makes the stove roar.
