White faced Heron
Cleaned out the Office this morning, well just the desk. One day I may get ruthless and empty the cupboard. This afternoon Marie and I went around the lakes, one of those spontaneous things we do and took a change with us just in case it got late and we would have to overnight somewhere. This heron was wading the shore on Lake Benmore at Sailors Cutting, observing and capturing many images of this bird, I watched it and tried to capture it catching a meal, but these things are so fast; with it's needle like beak it's prey stand no chance. My extra is on the Canal Road heading toward Twizel of a Front coming through.
