I expected to be blipping a shot taken from the car in a queue of traffic as I headed into Kendal this morning. However some brightness mid afternoon tempted me out for a short circuit from home. 

The effects of recent rain were visible everywhere today with huge puddles on the roads and in fields, and streams where there are usually none. I've passed here often and this stream has never seemed to have much photo potential. What a difference today.
