Today

Storm Gareth (try saying that without automatically giving the storm a Welsh accent) visited Cartwright Close overnight and poor Becky's two-weekly supply of Coke Zero cans were deposited in everyone else's garden. Much chatter on the CC message thread. It was decided that the array of debris actually looked like a piece of modern art and it was thus named 'bluster'.

I used my £5 Paperchase birthday treat on a pleasing new set of lunchboxes last week. They are still bringing me much joy.

I'm enjoying the BBC's Race Across the World (no judgment, please) and it's giving me severely itchy feet. Not helped with Ellie bombarding me with various questions about her up-and-coming flight this morning. I can almost hear my passport calling to me.

An unexpected trip to the Theatre with Becky tonight. I'm enjoying having a theatre going neighbour and hoping it will make me go and watch things that I wouldn't normally think about seeing.

I'm going to be late for Gospel Choir.
