Today's the day ……………………… to keep an eye on

This is a very familiar silhouette in the sky that we see often from our garden.

There are lots of red kites around here - the result of a successful programme to increase their numbers and the provision of several 'feeding stations' at Loch Ken and elsewhere.  I know I'm probably just kidding myself that this one is the same one that soars over us every day.  But it really does seem to be keeping an eye on us.

I'd like to think that it's watching progress in the garden and giving us a bit of silent encouragement ………………….
