Dipper!

I went up to the West End to drop a bagful of maths off at the OU office, and then walked down to Stockbridge via the Dean Gardens. They were looking particularly fine, so I was snapping away at various flowers when I stopped to gaze at the Water of Leith and wondered if I might see a kingfisher.

No, but a dipper! What a sweetie. Didn't see one the whole of last year, so was very happy to see it.
