dandelions in December ?

Well I have taken this shot before however I never thought it would be mid December. Normally around this time of year it has gotten cold enough that there is some snow on the ground. I wonder what is happening and if global warming is taking place.

Anyway tonight I got my Christmas Lights hung outside, makes my balcony look nice and festive.
