Christmas village

Our tree would not be complete without the little village underneath. Early in our marriage, hubby and I were given three buildings by my father-in-law as a "starter," but I never felt a need for more. We have the "old homestead," the "train station" that brings everyone home, and the "church" to go to on Christmas!
On a side note, the tree skirt is actually hubby's old childhood bedspread that works perfectly to camouflage any needles that fall from the tree.
Oh, how I love Christmas traditions!
