Messy Eater

We had a pair of Siskins in and out of the garden today. It was bitterly cold when I went out to top up the feeders but the day gradually warmed up and it was hard to believe that we went to bed with a blizzard raging - including thunder and lightening. When I went for a walk this afternoon, only tell-tale slivers of white at the base of north-facing walls reminded me about last night's weather.
