Goodbye bath!

It was All Action here today, as anticipated! The bathroom chaps arrived en masse, on time, and got stuck in covering the hall floorboards, then ripping out the old bathroom. Terrific! I'm very impressed by how much they get done in a whole day's work.

The kitchen folk arrived a hour or so later, but got stuck in boxing the beams in at last. The new plan re the placing of the pulley was put into action - luckily the ceiling hadn’t been completed in that part - an extra bit of wood hidden in the ceiling is necessary - so that's all good.

We wandered over to the local cafe for a coffee and scone, and, more importantly, the toilet. Then JR and Archie went off for a long walk. I was happy to return home and watch Politics Live. More tempers frayed and near-fisticuffs today but not as bad as this incident. Unmissable! I have to have the subtitles on because of the bangings and crashings of the builders (but I’m not complaining!)
