Just another day...

Sophie wanted to find the ‘secret beach’ so we followed her to a cliff top parking spot and began a long hot walk down a cliff path, past the safety notices that said Danger and Unstable , over heaps of fallen rocks and past hanging boulders down to a beautiful sandy beach. There are very few sandy beaches in the area and this one was worth the struggle as it had inlets of lovely warm water for the children to paddle in, with little shoals of fish as well.
The walk back up was quite hard and Tom had to donkey George all the way but he had a great time and a good nap afterwards!
Tom and Sophie made us pork and black pudding Wellington for supper which was excellent!!
