Now in Takaka in Joe's amazing place. We're ensconced in their gorgeous Airbnb with astonishing views of the mountains, and a farm with a tractor sporting an Irish flag and three tame sheep. And an avocado tree! Amazing drive over Takaka Hill, (a Kiwi joke, it's huge) and a quick paddle at this glorious beach near Nelson. Esme and Simone back home tomorrow (Esme at her first conference) . And no more planes!!
