All that jazz!

Well my goodness. A performance of the most amazing sounds and talent filled my eyes and ears this evening. To say I enjoyed it would be quite the understatement.  Great Istanbul jazz artists in our theatre - playing for free!!  Ain't what you know, but who, and the guitarist and trumpeter are friends of my colleague Deniz, himself no mean jazz pianist. One of the best sets I have ever heard, virtuosity abounded in their liquid sounds.  Their rendition of 'Cry Me A River' was simply stunning. 

Couldn't decide which pic to feature, none of them are great quality as they were taken from the balcony.  Should it be Cansu, as it is International Women's Day? Should it be Önder and Şenova as they are Deniz's friends? The beautiful bouquet was given to Cansu at the end of the concert, and is included for Flower Friday.
