Grey Statue
As it was dry and the wind had dropped, I shook off my lethargy and went for a walk along the River. It was a have of activity. Lots of Grey Wagtails chasing around and most exciting, a pair of Dippers busily collecting nesting material. There were also Treecreepers and Nuthatches, and lots of Robins, Wrens, and assorted Tits. The light was poor, so capturing all this activity was not easy Much more statuesque were the Grey Herons in the water.
