The telephone is dead

There is a box,  from telkom on the kitchen table.

It's THE NEW PHONE.

The very much UNWANTED item, was delivered by a courier this morning. 

Telkom is ditching the copper cables and going wireless.

Why is it unwanted you ask ?

Because, it doesn't work very well.  To date, as Mom's friends and associates have gone onto the new system, they have lost contact, with Mom.

The reason, their fancy new phones, won't connect with the old phone.

Plus it is a potential health risk.

The biggest source of electromagnetic radiation, is cordless phones in the home. 

I didn't offer to open it.......or look inside. 

I just ignored it.
