Lucky Archie!

Yippee! The front garden rubble yard has been cleared! That's all that's been done today, but it's cheered us up enormously - it was such an eyesore. They also took away stuff from the kitchen, and have mapped out the plans for finishing the whole job next week. Well, maybe into Monday of the following week with floor sanding...

Andrew the boss came, Archie went crazy, crying and leaping around him. He couldn’t work today as he was looking after his children. Fair enough.

While JR did her double fitness session (1 hour!) at the gym and then made use of the shower, Jordan and Sarah came to take Archie out. After yesterday's mizzle it was a sunny day, though bloomin' cold. They're busy doing up their (fairly) new flat (ready for a wee new arrival) so there was much talk about paint colours ensued when they came back. Though I’m happy with Magnolia, as I often say, which results in howls of derision.

It's SO nice to have lights in the kitchen again!
