Not Christmas

It was quiet again at the cafe.  This may be because the Boston Stump church has received a grant and is now offering a more substantial breakfast than us. There was a note left for us from the Majors saying that the Thursday lunch has been stopped as a knife was thrown yesterday and they are worried about safety.  We do get quite a few addicts and the odd altercation but nothing very serious.  The use of the drug spice has made behaviour more unpredictable though.  It was French conversation in the afternoon so I could get my ear in before my return to France in a couple of weeks.  These kale plants in a local field have bolted.  It is always a shame to see a whole field go to waste.
