Had a great poignant service for the first day of Lent. Time to maybe give something up or do something more , better still do both. Above all strive to improve our lives.
It has been a mixed day wet/ windy and dull.
I had a pedicure this afternoon , together with a back massage which has helped one pain and increased another hey ho that's how it goes.
A friend came for a cuppa ( someone who went to school / brownies and general playmate of my daughter , up north, I haven't seen her for years so there was so much to catch up on. Her parents were great friends of my husband and I we did a lot socially together. Then it was off to church where the Rev gave the sermon. So proud of my family .
