Rough night better day

Last night was the first night I felt so worried about Rafi that I had to stay with him all night long. Mum stayed with me and did manage an open mouthed cat nap in the chair by the bed.
He was well looked after during the night and given a concoction of different drugs which managed to settle him by about 4.00am.
He has had a more settled day thank goodness and is now off the ventilator and breathing for himself.
I asked the neurologist today how long Rafi might be in hospital and he said he thought about 6 months. We don't mind how long it takes we will be here for him.
