Stages in eating pancakes

Saved at the last from a costly mistake. We went to order some new vertical blinds but despite double checking our measurements when we got home we checked one final time only to find that we’d converted cm to mm incorrectly.

The phone systems weren’t working so it was back in the car to return to the store with the correct measurements. Fortunately, the order allowed us until the store closed today to make any changes so all was well in the end.

It did put an end to plans to go to the allotment this afternoon which was a shame. The allotment will be there tomorrow, the blinds would have been wrong for ever!

Pancake day today which forms, obviously, today’s blip. I had a shot of blackthorn blossom lined up but I liked this composition rather more. This is how we used to have pancakes when I was a lad: Simone with lemon and sugar ( sweetener nowadays)
