Exploring Rethymno

After a lazy morning, recovering from a long day of travel, we explored Rethymno. It is definitely off-season at the moment, with lots of tourist shops/cafes still closed or recovering from last week’s storm damage. However, the sun was out and it was lovely to explore the old town and Venetian harbour. The scenery is quite stunning, clear blue sea and sky and lots of snow on the high mountains.
