Garden Project #2: Rockery!

By lunchtime today our scrubby end bit of garden had been transformed in to this fabulous rockery.  I think the chestnut tree, which grew from a discarded conker, is going to have to go before I crack on with the planting.  We are meeting friends for lunch at Harlow Carr this Friday and they have a great alpine house, so I shall be taking along my notebook and maybe coming away with a few plants.

That excitement apart it has been a day of jobs and recorder practice and Czech practice followed by more laps of the cricket field in the sunshine with the injured Hobblers.  We are getting there slowly!
