On the prowl

This is Makinki, not our cat, although he spends a lot of time in our garden, basking in a warm, sunny spot, or exploring favourite nooks and crannies. He's friendly, but not especially well-trained, and he's inclined to bite. Our neighbours acquired him as a young adult cat, so we don't know anything about his early history. He's bold and inquisitive, not averse to sneaking into the house or garage when he feels like it. We seem to be tolerated, as fellow inhabitants of his patch.
