At Last!

The hardest part of our bathroom renovation was getting the plumber to come to install the shower fixtures. I mentioned this to my pétanque friends today, and two of them had tales of woe about plumbers. It seems to be a common problem. To be fair, they do get a lot of emergency calls. If I had a serious water leak, I'd want it fixed as soon as possible. Having the water turned off is no fun.

The result was well worth the wait. Both Cynthia, the mastermind of this project, and I are delighted. I'm looking forward to my (our?) first shower here.
