POLICE AWARE !!!!

Sub-title - A DAY OF TWO HALVES.
Well Nora The Cockapoo & I decided that it was such a nice day that we would go down the coast to Longniddry Bents for a walk. (See extras)
All was good so we had a snack in the car before heading home. Just about to join the A1 road towards Edinburgh when
there was a loud bang followed by the roar of the exhaust !!!
Just on a roundabout as well ( not good). Tried to remove remains of the exhaust but no dice.
Along came a police van with two very helpful bobbies who tried to help, jacked the car up and scrambled under it but again no joy.
Meanwhile Nora sitting in the car wondering what was going on.
Eventually the boys in blue said to hop in the van and they would take me to local garage, but they could not help so back to car. Once back at the car I remembered that our bank provided a breakdown service & phoned them.
Should have thought of that at first. (Plonker)
All ended well as the guy turned up within an hour & loaded the Micra up on the flatbed truck and took us home.
May thanks go out to the two policemen & the breakdown guy for their assistance today.
Anybody want a Micra X-reg that’s exhaustless ??
