Icy, unlike the company.

I took this photo on the way home from Ludovic's last night at around 1am. It was absoutely freezing, I hear around -8 degrees but it was such a contrast to the warm evening I'd had (whether that was just the heating in their flat or the company too!)

Woke up late and headed into my second lesson as Thibault's lesson was cancelled for a test. Did a lesson on Norman Rockwell with them, an let them play me cringey French music as a reward. I'm talking this sort of thing. It was fun anyway. Spent a few hours getting my lessons ready for the end of term. Helped Cristel by recording more embarassing words in my posh accent. Now Thibault wants a copy too, can't help but feel that might be in order to mock me! In the afternoon I had a class with the secondes that I liked last week. Unfortunately I feared that when they had to actually do work they might not be so happy, and I was correct. Very little was acheived. It's hard not to get discouraged when you just don't know how to help someone because they won't try.

In the evening I had my private lesson which went well and received a phonecall from a potential pupil who I am meeting on Saturday to discuss further. An evening in which bread and Boursin and lots of blogging to catch up on!
