Contentment

Red decided that the day was supposed to start at 4am. It took an hour of playing in his room after waking both me and Lily for him to realise it really was the middle of the night!

The alarm went off far too soon afterwards but a very smooth morning followed! I then joined the girls for coffee and people watching at Neros...

The afternoon was spent fixing up Lily's Lego Friends that Red had destroyed. Then we sorted out the Playmobil so that Red now has some in his room to play with - and he played with it beautifully!!

After school was the school Christmas Fayre. Which always brings out the best in me. Next year I swear I will just bung the school £20 and avoid the tat, noise and warm, sweaty hall...

I was so traumatised, I took the kids to McDonald's for their tea. Which is only bad because last night I was so engrossed in GO! shite Girl Guiding UK database that I forgot to cook tea so had a couple of Domino's pizzas delivered...
