With bells on...
But as luck would have it, as we wandered through the street market, strange people with painted faces and feathers and kilts and top hats and bells on their legs began to appear. And then assemble. There were three different groups. Each group did a wee dance, two of them rather fierce with big sticks, but my favourite group just wafted their hankies about. It was most entertaining!
I really wanted a shot of the wee bearded man playing the accordion, but the dancers, rather annoyingly, kept leaping about in front of him.
We had lunch in the new establishment. It was very very busy. AND it's dog friendly! We popped up to the roof terrace, but it started to rain just as we got there. Another time.
Just watching that interesting documentary about the triplets who were separated at birth. And I’m delighted to note that that great Scottish classic - Tutti Frutti is on the new BBC Scotland channel. I've never seen it, and it hasn’t been on TV or DVD since 1987.
