St. Edmunds Head
This morning we went into Hadleigh Suffolk. A lovely little town lots of nice independent shops. We went into St. Mary’s church which they were spring cleaning had a lovely chat with several of the volunteers. They think there has been a church here since around 878. We had this bench end pointed out to us thought to be 700 years old depicting a wolf guarding the head of St. Edmund.
We went onto Flatford mill ( see extra) had a nice look around and lunch before coming back. On the way we booked Sunday lunch at the local pub.
The weather started very overcast but we have a bit of sun now
