Myrrh? I'd prefer a glass of wine.

We all went to St Mark's for the carol service this afternoon. I think we need to change the format next year, it didn't feel Christmassy and it just lacked something. The choir sang beautifully and the musicians were great but we need to do something about the rest.

In bygone years the staff would all cross over to the pub afterwards for a few drinks. (The children all go home from the church we don't abandon them) But I have to say there are a lot of miserable people now who never want to do anything. There were three of us! We are actually having a staff do this year, and amazingly about fifty people are going, it is on Tuesday after we break up.

I had a couple of drinks then walked home, I took a few pics of the church as I passed but decided the pic of the pub would do for today.

I did a Christmas quiz with Prep 2 today. The children went into groups of three and worked as a team. There were some funny answers.
