Getting Desperate

Dear Diary,

If it isn't squirrels and turkeys it's snow and ice!  Here is a rather uninspiring view out the front window.  I wonder if I'll ever see the garden again?  It is a frigid morning, -10F but at least the wind has gone.  Mount Washington recorded their highest wind speed ever for February, 171mph.  That's a Category 5 hurricane!  Deep breath.

So, for now, it will be back to squirrels and turkeys and birds until winter decides to leave us.  It will be March on Friday so we are ever so slowly inching our way towards spring and it can't come soon enough for me.

On a much happier note, I was able to get a picture of poor Rosamond yesterday snacking away on a peanut.  Her ear is really healing nicely!  So good to see.
