Owl

A lovely walk this morning. The mist was just lifting before the sun broke through. Not much activity in the hide.

After lunch I managed more pottering in the garden. The warm sunshine was glorious and I could hear an owl in the forest.

Our neighbours have installed this owl in their garden though I don't think it was the one I could hear. I assume it is to frighten away the birds. Certainly gives me the heebie-jeebies.
