Full Moon

This is supposed to be a cloudy full moon of the sort that turns Professor Lupin into a werewolf in The Prisoner of Azkaban. It would appear that my knitting gauge does not match the standard knitting graph paper as its turned out to be a little taller and narrower than it should be! A sort of boiled egg rather than a full moon!

It's obviously for Betsy's Harry Potter blanket, but though I had a tot up a week or so ago, and decided I needed nine more squares, despite making five in the meantime, I realise I still need nine more! How? Because I hard totally miscounted last time! Maths in every day life indeed.

Chris just back from yet another doctor telling him he is practically Superman. He's loving it! He has the resting heart rate of an Olympian and the lowest cholesterol of any person this particular doctor had seen apparently.

Chris says I should get a health check but I am worried I might have the resting heart rate of Pat Butcher and the cholesterol of a pork sausage.

We just watched the most recent episode of Peep Show. In it Jez says that something is the '.....worst - or at least the most recent - of all the bad things' he has ever done. Priceless.
