Holly berries

Not much colour in the trees yet so it was nice to see these holly berries growing on branches that were way above my head.

According to Google, mature Ilex aquifolium trees can grow to a height of 15m and live for up to 300 years. Leaves of older trees are likely to be smooth rather than jaggy like the leaves on much younger trees.
