Beer blip

It's been a while since I did a beer blip. After a quiet morning in the flat hoping that the pavements would become less icy, we stepped out some time after 12 noon, and had a bit of wander over towards one of the lakes, and then back into the city and thence back to Plevna, where we ate and drank yesterday. A quick pint, and then back here via the supermarket, arriving not long before it started raining. A full blown thaw in the middle of February is quite unusual here. It might, as Joppastrand wondered yesterday, be something to do with global warming related to previous industrial activity. I certainly don't know.

Still some work to do this evening in preparation for the week ahead.
