Cherry plum

A relatively restful and easy day. Pleasant walk into town and back in glorious weather where we spotted this Cherry Plum in flower.

Quick trip to the allotment this afternoon to dig some parsnips and pick a cabbage and purple sprouting broccoli. Best parsnips I’ve had for many a year. No alien like roots this year.

Watched England fail against a fired up Welsh side at the Millennium Stadium. England had a good first half but just didn’t turn up in the second half allowing the Welsh to grab a couple of tries to record an impressive win in front of a delirious partisan crowd in Cardiff.
