Scary Critters

My Dear Princess & Dear Fellows,

Caro was not feeling very well last night. As a consequence she stayed up until 5am watching "Love Island UK" while I lay in bed and snored.

And during the course of her evening, she encountered some local wildlife. Hence the picture above. 

(As it turns out, I didn't have to deal with it. After 30 minutes Caro "felt sorry for it" and summoned up the courage to pitch it out of the window herself.)

As a result of all this shenanigans, I was left alone all morning. Well, me and Jasper. We watched a film called "Critters" which is about tiny little voracious evil aliens. While I can't claim it was a great film, I did love the subtitles.

Caro emerged just after lunchtime and I've been making a big fuss of her all day, trying to make her feel better. This mainly manifested itself as cups of coffee and more old thrillers. Today, we watched "Revenge" with Kevin Costner, "Above Suspicion" with Christopher Reeve and I just put on The Bedroom Window from the 80's.

CARO: Steve Guttenberg?
ME: Yes.
CARO: "Police Academy" Steve Guttenberg?
ME: Well yes, but this isn't a comedy. It's another sexy rude murder thriller about sex.
CARO: With Steve Guttenberg?
ME: Yes.
CARO: "Cocoon" Steve Guttenberg?
ME: Yes.
CARO: Ew.

I take her point. I just hope the thought of Steve Guttenberg's tackle doesn't keep her up until 5am again.
