18 years old at last
What an 18-point day!
1. Presents.
2. Smoothies.
3. Walked up to cafe for breakfast.
4. Returned home.
5. Drove to tube station.
6. Arrived at The Angel, Islington.
7. Walked, heads down into the incredible sunshine.
8. Met LongLegs at an Escape Room
9. Escaped, just! Certainly tense stuff and not just a little family-shouting!
10. Walked in brilliant sunshine & warmth across London. Loved the neighbouring old and new architecture.
11. Arrived in West End and met DougsJB.
12. Ate pizzas.
13. Walked to Victoria via THE Palace.
14. Arrived at a theatre called ‘The Other Palace’.
15. Watched a show called ‘ShowStopper’.
16. Helped produce a play. It was brilliant. Absolutely fantastically and cleverly done theatre, created on the spot using suggestions from the crowd both for the plot and the musical themes. Very funny.
17. Came home by tube.
18. Toasted our lovely 18 year old.
Remembering too that 18 years ago today, the local press photographer arrived at my hospital bed, only a couple of hours after giving birth to Dot.T. A photo of me and Elbows, our newborn baby and the midwife was then printed in 100,000 newspapers. It was a unforgettable time of our lives as a family.
