Lambing time?

I caught sight of these new born lambs in a field in which the sheep were obviously giving birth, so I went back today and took these photographs.

They have been lucky so far in that the weather for the past few days has been cold but dry and no snow.

Even in the sunny climes of East Devon I think this is an unusual time of year to have lambs out of doors.
